What this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

The short version
We collect what you choose to send us, and basic information about how the site is used. We use it to reply to you, to make the site better and to see which of our ads and fliers work. We don't sell it, and we don't use it to target ads at you.
When you contact us
The contact form asks for your name, email address, company (optional), what you're trying to solve and a rough timeline (optional). We store what you send, email it to our team, and keep it as a record of our conversation. If we end up working together, it becomes part of our client records.
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that it's being sent by a person rather than a bot. Cloudflare handles that check under its own privacy policy.
When you call us
Calls to (402) 701-4090 are handled by our phone provider, Twilio. We keep a record of each call: the number it came from, the general location your phone company reports, the time and how long it lasted. If you leave a voicemail, it's recorded and stored by Twilio, and only our staff listen to it. We don't record conversations, only voicemails.
How the site is used
We use our own analytics tool, TailorAnalytics, to learn how people find the site and use it. It records:
- the pages you view (the address without anything after a "?"), what you click and where, how far down each page you scroll, and how long it was open and in use
- the site that linked you here, any campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source), and which ad network's click code was in it, but never the code itself
- your type of device and operating system, read from the description your browser sends with every page, which is kept with the record
To recognize a return visit, your browser keeps a random identifier, and a visit lasts until 30 minutes pass without activity. The identifier isn't your name or email address, and it isn't a cookie. We don't store your IP address; TailorAnalytics uses it only briefly, in memory, to block floods of requests.
If you contact us through the form, the identifier is saved with your inquiry, so we can see how you found us and which pages you read first.
The short links and QR codes on our fliers and ads record when they're used, whether the code was scanned or the address typed, and the type of device.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, none of this happens: nothing is recorded, and nothing is kept in your browser. You can also clear the identifier at any time by clearing your browser's site data for codercraft.com.
Cookies
The site uses only the cookies it needs to work: two that keep your visit on the same server, and one that protects forms from misuse. All three end when you close your browser. CoderCraft staff who sign in also get a sign-in cookie. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who handles your information
A few companies process information on our behalf, only to run the services listed here:
- Microsoft Azure hosts the website, its database and our analytics.
- Twilio SendGrid delivers our emails.
- Twilio runs our phone line and stores voicemails.
- Cloudflare checks contact-form submissions for bots.
- Microsoft 365 holds our email, including replies to you.
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries, call records and voicemails as business records for as long as they're useful to us or the law requires. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Your choices
Email support@codercraft.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We'll reply within a few business days.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and organizations. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
